​July 2019 - This month we bring you the great success story of Michael. Michael plays basketball with the Dublin Lions Basketball Club based in Clondalkin. His team came second in the basketball under 12s league this year. This Year Michael has traveled a lot with his team, they went to Leeds in U.K. 7th-9th July for a tournament in which they won it,thats Michael with the trophy on the right. With the club over the last year, Michael has been to most basketball clubs in Dublin for matches and he has been to Galway and Cork on several occasions and Limerick in Sept. Over the summer Michael took part in the camps which were coached by some really big names in basketball from all over the world

* Sasa Punosevac- Serbian international coach & Irish senior coach
* Mickey Duignan- US high school coach
* Greg Brittenham- New York Knicks strength and conditioning coach
* Mick White- Irish Underage Coach to name a few.
Michael also took part with an all stars camp which include Previous Dublin Lions players who have been signed in th US after been spotted while on the New York trip which usually takes place when the Dublin Lions players reach the under 15/16 teams. Michael thoroughly enjoys his Basketball club and the places he has gotten to see while travelling for games.
